Upgrading a jazz

So im thinking about either getting a better preamp for my qmt jazz 24, or getting a new bridge. The question is what would affect the bass in the most positive way?

Now, hip shot bridge or badass II/III?

What preamp will work well with s. duncan basslines?

I have no knowledge/experience with different bridges and preamps, so help from you guys would be very helpfull, thanks!

So I'd like to suggest you to give us a bit more information about the kind of sound you'd like to achieve.
