Upgrading a squier Jaguar

Hey y'all, i really like the look of Jaguar basses, but i don't really need/want a jazz pickup in the bridge position. So i started looking around but couldn't really find anything else but a jazz+precision pickup setup. So i decided i wanted to do some myself. My plan is to replace the jazz pickup with a Seymour Duncan smb4a (music man style) on a squier cv Jaguar ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]) and was wondering if any of you guys know if the squier electronics are any good. Swapping out tuners/bridge isn't really a problem for me and will probably happen down the hill anyways, but i wanna know if the electronics are any good before soldering a new pickup. Now one more thing is size. I'm pretty sure a standard jazz pick-up is slightly bigger than this one. It'll probably not be too bad but still, something I'm a bit concerned about
