Double Bass Upright Bass Tuning Machines

Hello!
I have a cheap chinese but decent enough double bass and I have decided to upgrade some parts expecting to improve it while I learn and save to buy a better one. Strings, bridge and tailpiece all sorted but when looking for tuning machines it gets very expensive, so I am looking for any advice to buy good ones without paying as much as I pay for the bass, any recommendations?
