Double Bass Upright in other genres than jazz/bluegrass/classical?

I'm relatively new to the double bass world (been playing for 2 1/2 years now and lovin it!) and I'm into jazz, not so much classical music or bluegrass, but I was wondering if anybody knows of any modern rock/funk/jam-band/blues bands whos bassist rocks the upright. Any input would be great, thanks

John Turner plays both upright and electric in Roomful of Blues. Also a lot of rockabilly bands have upright players

Chris Wood of medeski, martin and wood. He playes upright and electric. I mean it's along the lines of jazz but he can get super funky

Christian Mcbride band is basically a jazz band but they incorporate different styles in like funk and rock, check out the Live At Tonic cds. Discs 2 and 3 of that set are basically jams, they get pretty funky. McBride plays a lot of UB on there as well as some fretless electric
