I have a 1941 B1 Epiphone. They are great instruments.I had an Upton hybrid for a while. Nice instrument, but, for bluegrass, it couldn't touch my Epiphone. Eventually, it wandered off to a new home. YMMV.
The Infamous StringdustersDoes anyone have any thoughts on an Upton hybrid bass for bluegrass? Thanks.
Depends what you're looking for. If you're looking for authentic bluegrass mojo, get an old Kay, Epiphine, or King. If you're looking for great sound, playability, durability, and customer service, at a more than fair price, go with the Upton!Does anyone have any thoughts on an Upton hybrid bass for bluegrass?
