Use BF-2 as chorus?

I have a Boss BF-2 Flanger. It hasn't seen much use and it has some hiss. I've never owned a chorus pedal and never tried one on bass. Based on feedback to my post about how to beef up the bass in a trio, I'm considering ordering a clone of EHX Small Clone chorus. However, while fooling around with the Flanger tonight, I felt like it could do as a chorus.

Can I use the BF-2 as a chorus? Would it make a decent chorus? What settings should I dial in?

Or should I go ahead and purchase the Small Clone clone? Will it differ significantly from the BF-2 used as chorus, enough to warrant the purchase?

Great, thanks guys. Yes, turning the manual and res all the way counterclockwise does the trick for getting chorus effects out of the BF-2. However, I also discovered that my BF-2 (1986 Japan) often makes a hiss sound that comes in waves (probably along with the oscillation). I also would prefer a true bypass pedal. So, I think I have to ditch the BF-2 anyway and get the small clone clone if I want a chorus. Too bad, the BF-2 sounded good.
