Using a Blackstar Unity as a Head?

Today I was impressed with the controls and use of a Blackstar Unity combo, enough to come home and consider the possibility of buying one. I figure the U250 would be more than enough, but I began to consider the possibility of using one as a makeshift head.

Right now I use an Orange OB-300 and an Eden XLT-210. My current cab should be able to handle up to 350 watts RMS of power and I could keep the cab of my current rig by using the extension cab socket to get a post amp signal with an XLR to 1/4" cable. Would that work?

The manuals for the unity combos don't mention what resistance they put out at, but the active cab in passive mode accepts 4 ohms so I would think they put out 4 ohms right?

I figure the combo speakers would still work in that configuration and I've never really had an extended cab setup so I wonder if the different drivers would clash. Is there anyway to know before hand?
