Hi
we have a peavey pa head.
200 watts @ 4 ohms.

instead of renting speakers every time we jam.
we found these kenwoods in my buddies basement similar to these below
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
15" woofer , rated at about 100 watts @ 8ohms.
Just wondering how safe the pa will be running these speakers at 8 ohms.
owner does not care if we blow his kenwoods as they are considered junk.
jam enviroment is a relatively low volume (full band) in buddies carpeted basment, with only vocals running through the pa.
should we wire both 8ohm speakers to paralell and get 4 ohms and run only the one channel and put a dummy cable for the other channel? or just run at 8ohms both channels
we re poor right now to buy a real pa speaker. hoping this will do for now, in respect to the peavey pa.
thanks in advance
