Hey guys, I wanted to get your opinion on something. My band recently bought a wireless in-ear monitor system for the group and the earbuds that come with it are pretty crappy, to say the least. At least in terms of staying in while I'm sweating and bouncing around stage (the sound is actually not too bad). A guy came into my music store the other day and we got to talking about earbuds and replacement inserts for them and he mentioned that if you take those silicon swimmer's earplugs and place those around the earbud canal and in your ear that they stay wedged in really well, since it shapes to your ear canal. Have any of you tried this yourselves? Keep in mind, I know I can just buy some good earbuds that stay in, but I'm being cheap, hehe.
