I know this is an Xotic commercial, but. I just get a kick out of how Vail a Johnson carries himself plus he is a fine player.
Very cool guy. Met him backstage at the Hampton Jazz Festival. Taller than I thought he was. LOL

Sadly this has happened to more than one pro player who came 'in person' to TB. One reason several remain incognito, just sayin'.
Yes. That's how I was able to get tickets to one of his concerts and a meet backstage. He told everyone he'd like to meet them at any of his tour stops. He was coming to Hampton, VA so I hit him up and he hooked me up with free tickets.
Same here, and it was a darn good show. Never did I think I'd have a great time seeing Kenny G, and I did.
That is a lesson I think we all need to relearn every so often: any type of music can be good.
