Hey!
So I'm gonna be going in for a Rockbass soon, and I'm torn between A rockbass Vampyre and a Corvette $$ (Both 5 String Models) because i'm not sure what would fit my style more because unfortunately where i live its hard to come by such basses in music stores to try.
So, as for my style, the best i could describe it is Very Les claypool influenced slap technique and a very aggressive and also very dynamic finger picking technique. When i Do use a pick i use a very Justin Chancellor kind of tone. Also i Love playing around with various effects.
Also i do Love to play some bass solos, and i plan on replacing the low B string with a High C string. I'm currently using a low budget bass that i bought around 5-6 years ago to learn on and i feel i could use something a little better now.
I've been using a Greg Bennet Fn 5/4 Vintage.
Also my own tone can be described as a compressed overdrive with loads of Mid Range into it.
That's about all i can describe!
Thanks for looking into this! And Thanks for your inputs!
