Hello Vancouver bass folks:

Has anyone taken an amp to Mr. Ho lately?

I hear he's still around, but I have hot and cold reports about his service.

Is there someone else who will do good work on an old Ampeg?

I've heard about Backline but a bass playing buddy said they can be pricier than most.

Backline is gone but check their website because their tech is still doing repair work. Mr. Ho is great with some amps but I've had multiple bad experiences with him with my SVT.
