Since TalkBass has so much activity, I really appreciate the forum option that allows you to exclude individual forums from showing their posts when you click on "Get New Posts." For those of you who don't know about it, you access it in the User CP/Control Panel. At the top of the page you click on Quick Links > Edit Options, and then at the bottom under Miscellaneous Options there's a list of every subforum on the forum where you can select which ones you don't want to see posts from.
On another forum I go to that also uses vBulletin software (v3.7.3 vs. v3.6.12 used here), this option doesn't show up. The Miscellaneous Options section only has settings for the Message Editor Interface.
I contacted the other forum's owner and asked him about it, and his reply was that he didn't see an option for it in his software. He thought it might be a plugin.
I know nothing about how forum software works. Who do I contact here to find out the details of how to how to enable this feature?
