Hey guys! Got a bit of a problem. I have a Squier short scale Jag, and when I play the E string, the saddle starts vibrating like crazy! Is there anything I can do to fix this, or should I give up?

Vibrating Saddle

Odd. Is it vibrating sideways? If so detune the A string and lift and move the A string towards the D string on the bridge, thereby pushing the A string saddle towards the E string. This should bring them together and maybe stop the vibration?

Make sure the bridge height adjustment screws both contact the bridge plate evenly. If one is higher, the other can vibrate a lot.

I adjusted the screws, still vibrating. Seems to be vibrating sideways and buzzing against the A saddle.

Thank you thank you thank you! Just got my SR305 today and it has all sorts of fret buzz.
This fixed one of my issues. The open B string when down picked would vibrate the saddle a lot. A little adjustment to the (lower) saddle and boom.
Played around with the action a bit, slightly on the higher side for now. Will loosen the truss rod a quarter when it's not the first day of owning a bass.
