Vintage acoustic 406 2x15 ???s

i picked up an acoustic 406 cab with no drivers a few days back... anyhow here is the rig so far

btb bass
sansamp Bass preamp pedal into
art prochannel tube preamp into
a crown 402 poweramp... soon to be upgraded to an crown 803
cabs im using now are 2 new acoustic 4x10 cabs

anyone have any ideas for drivers for the 2x15s im thinking neodynium might be nice to keep the weight down as the cab is a ton empty...
or i have access to buying a pair of gauss 4580s in good condition... i know very little of "gauss speakers" other than some speak well of them...

music is blues/rock and i do some slappin not much...
here are some pics and a schematic of cab... this in not mine but same model someone else posted...

anyhow any suggestions... im all ears and lost on what to do for the most part.... are the new neodynium speakers like the eminence kappa lites good for bass amp tone in this situation... that or the gauss is what ive considered so far

thanks

I used to use one of those cabs loaded with jbl e140's. It was an incredible sounding cabinet. Loud deep and punchy. I have used the gauss speakers in PA bass bins and they worked well but never tried them for bass guitar. If you could find a set of used jbl's i do know they sound great in there.
