Unfortunately, my only pic with my Traynor YBA-3A rig (2 8x10 cabs) is stylized for a poster done back then (winter '71).
Same bass ('69 CAR Jazz - bound & blocked with matching headstock), August '70 with my VOX Super Beatle (2 cabs) setup at the Minnesota State Fair. We were an all VOX Super Beatle setup, Guitar & Keys too. Also, the Kustoms were our monitors... just added a bit of vocal foldback. There were no wedges existing at the time. Our PA had switched to a 4 piece Traynor and the YBA setup was on order. Coily cords!
Here's my Mustang ('65... 66?) Sonic Blue with the plastic body shield. I only had one Beatle cab at this time. I owned this bass from '68- '71.
Excellent photos. You even kinda look like a Beatle. Do you remember why you sold the mustang? Still have the jazz?
The sale of the Mustang was purely economics
BUT, I am in the process of having a 'Mustang' built for me... thread to come. The specs keep changing right now, but I'm looking forward to trying out a 30 inch scale again.
Another curly cord! Here's me in 1967 with my "Elite" hollow body bass. The rig is a home brew that wasn't really successful, and the bass wasn't that good either, just one I could afford.
In 1970 I bought my 1966 P-bass - paid $250 (Aust) for it, it was used but in good condition. This is the only pic I have of it from that year - note the curly cord was red.
...and I still play it! ...no curly cord.

PS: Forgot to mention that after 42 years with the same P, I recently decided to expand my collection - just ordered a new Rick, the old girl's going to be jealous. 
How do you play a curly chord? What is that, anyway? Augmented and inverted minor 7/9 or something?
**Sorry, no offense intended, but the whole cord/chord confusion bothers me. Chords are what you play on a musical instrument. Cords are what you use to connect the amp to the wall. Cables connect the instrument to the amp.
In other news, [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] is also making coiled instrument cables.

But seriously, I was only born in 1987 and this thread is making me feel nostaligic for the 70s. It's great that there are some people who have held onto their basses for so long. I intend to hold onto my Precision now, even though it's just a 2011 MIM. I also have serious GAS for a vintage rig; Sunn or Acoustic maybe.
But please, more photos!

This is The State at the Freezer Theater in Detroit in 1981. I am playing drums. Paul is on bass playing a Precision from the 70's. Art is playing a cool old Les Paul (SG) from the early 60's.
The drums are a Rogers 'Holiday' model with the Champagne finish. They had that Mitch Mitchell Are You Experienced? drum tone all day. Wish I still had them.
