I just picked up a 1964 Fender precision bass. A small edge of my pickguard cracked off right in the middle where the screw goes through. Can I put it back on with super glue? What the best way? Thanks!

Vintage pickguard crack repair???

Acetone (a little bit, on a qtip)will melt it back together. If you open the crack it might help. Ted Woodford fixed a old les Paul pick guard like that.
I’d leave it until next time someone familiar with those repairs is working on the bass.
