Vintage Will Lee

he's such a fine player --- and fun, too!
His talent runs so deep. I have heard he is the most recorded singer of all time (jingles) in addition to being a first call bassist. He definitely has front man ability. I wonder if ever wishes he had become a star. That said, he probably has as much money as a lot of stars.

i'm sure that mr. lee does not want for much, if anything. and i agree: he's blessed with a multitude of musical talents.

Will's career has outlasted a lot of the stars he recorded for and most pop stars only have a short shelf life, Will's career is coming up on a half century.

In the late 70's Will Lee, Hiram Bullock and Steve Jordan gave it a shot. I saw them in NYC and they were popular in Japan.

I absolutely love the sound Will Lee got back in the Seventies with his P-bass and phase shifter/flanger! I know the Jazz slap tone has superseded the Precision, but that chunky P-bass Funk tone is simply delightful.
