Double Bass VITO LIUZZI BLOG

The Double Bass Blog - "Il Contrabbasso"

Dear friends and collegues,
some months ago I've thought to create mu own Blog about the classical double bass and above you can link it.
I talk about every aspects of the double bass and when I have free time I add other posts. The limit of this blog is that is written in Italian, my language, but I have add a TRANSLATOR expecially for English musicians. I know it's not the same thing but a lot of English double bass players (but also German, french and so on) has written me to tell me that the translator is quite good. Naturally this is my fault because my English is no correct and so I prefer to write in my own language.

By the way, I hope yon can enjoy with it and if you have got specif problems about classical double bass please let write me or use the section "Comments": I will be happy to know you!!

Thank you and my best bass regards.

Vito

In Italiano:

Ho apprezzato quanto ho letto, nel vostro blog. Grazie! Siete appassionati, ben informati, attento, e dedicato l'uomo; vi benedica!

(Mi dispiace; ho lavorato con italiani per otto anni, ma ora ho dimenticato la maggior parte del mio italiano...)

In English:
I enjoyed what I have read, in your blog. Thank you!

You are a passionate, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and dedicated man; bless you!

I am sorry; while I worked with Italians for eight years, now I have forgotten most of the language...

Thank you, Eric!

Your Italian is much better than my teribble English:

Il tuo Italiano e notevolmente migliore rispetto al mio
terribile Inglese.

Lurking quite often in Vito's blog i found it a treasure of information, good natured and with the proper sense of humor. The English translator is more than adequate and the blog's impeccable atmosphere is well transfered in English. Strongly recommended for any orchestra player!
