For the first time my band is going vocals only through the PA. Well, for the first time this band is playing. And I'm the leader of this band so stage setup falls on me, which I'm fine with. What are some tips on running vocals only through a PA? Any tips on stage setup, eq, etc. I would like it all.

If anyone has a wireless just make sure they get out front and check levels from several spots in the room. Some of the best sounding gigs my band has ever played have been vocals only through the PA.

And IME the drummer is going to and should control the overall volume... so depending on his technique/skill level vs. size of venue you might want to consider hot rods or something like that.

You'll be surprised by the amount of instrument presence ending up in a "vocals only" configuration by virtue of stage volume / wash, amp placement, etc. Take that into consideration and work it to your advantage.
