Vote please, knobs for Frank's bass

Id like to know what you guys think of these. Which ones would you put if this was yours?

If the rest of the hardware was gold I'd probably go with that.
I'd actually prefer plain black knobs though, I think...

Yeah, black knobs, or a really dark wood.

Between the two, however, I'd go with the wood ones. Looks more natural, whereas the gold ones really stick out.

Those wood knobs are beautiful, nicely done.

But if it was my bass, I'd like the top in wenge to fit the fingerboard... just an opinion...

I've been using brass for my side markers and knob dots. When the light hits them, the sanding markers show and sort of makes it glow. Mayeb use something like that in the knobs instead of maple?

I dig the wood knobs.

I'd agree, the wood knobs look much better than the gold, and would look even better if they matched either the fingerboard or the pickup covers.

Did you turn then on a lathe, or on a pillar drill?

The gold hardware might look a little much, like theres gold but only at one end of the bass - I'd be tempted to go for black tuners and straplocks.

Just my opinion tho!
