Vox Amplug 2 Bass Questions

I bought a Vox amplug 2 Bass at my local music store and have been playing it for a couple of days. I notice that it works way better in my precision bass compared to my Aerodyne Bass. Has anyone else had this problem? In my aerodyne I can barely get any output from the bass and it constantly cuts in and out compared to my precision bass, (not an issue in the P bass)

Anyone that can offer a remedy?

Sounds like a problem with the output jack on the Aerodyne. Any chance you can take the Amplug and try it on another bass or two. Maybe visit a music store, if you can find one that's open. Or even a friend or bandmate with a guitar or bass. That's what I would do.
Process of elimination. If you find that this problem occurs with other guitars, then I would say the Amplug is the problem. If not, then the Aerodyne jack probably is.

I tested this with the two basses I have. My P bass works flawlessly and the aerodyne continues to cut out. Would this be as simple as replacing the output jack or checking the connections on the output jack to make sure theyre soldred correctly?
