Vox Amplug bass

I was just wondering... is it possible to use wireless phones/buds with the Vox Amplug Bass2? I’m assuming it would have to be Bluetooth capable and I don’t believe it is. Thanks. Just getting tired of my earbud wire getting hung up while I’m practicing.

I agree would be nice if they came out with a Bluetooth version. And yes needs to allow Bluetooth to phone while also using Bluetooth headphones. Otherwise still teathered.

I find those little suckers amazingly handy for learning material whilst on the road or on vacation, using the aux out of my phone for backing tracks. Never had an issue with cable tangle, but if you really want to use your Bluetooth headphones, there are adapters out there in the $12-$20 range...

There is too much latency with the bluetooth signal to use them. I wanted to and tried several bluetooth units from entry level to top-of-the-line Bose and Beats earbuds and full headsets. With the latency, at even moderate tempos, I was hearing a note sometimes even a full beat behind where I was playing with my backing track.

Maybe in a couple of more years, the technology will be there…

If you can send the Amplug2 signal from headphone socket through your smartphone (e.g. 3.5mm to micro USB cable) you may be able to Bluetooth from phone to headphones/earbuds...theoretically, at least.

I've read that the non-Bluetooth Sennheiser wireless headphones have latencies down around 1ms, which would be just fine, musically (generally, anything under ~6ms is OK for most people). But there we're talking about a rig that is several times larger and more expensive than the darned AmPlug!
