Your very welcome, glad to see it help someone. As for the fretless sound sorry but no, I haven't tried. I've been mainly using mine for chorus, distortion and the tube sound. If you do figure it out let me know. And welcome to TB.
It depends on what kind of 'fretless' sound you want. If you want a Jaco-type thing with sliding harmonics and 'detuned' chords then really the only way is to remove your frets 
(I am a lifelong fretless player and this was my 'solution' in 1984). If you are after that 80's Pino-type sound (think Gary Numan/Paul Young), then the stomplab has some options. Not all of the effects in the SL are that great in isolation, but I think the clean amp sims are very good and overall it gives a 'processed' feel to the sound which is quite retro. Pick a clean amp as these have limiters in them. Match the limiter to your bass such that you have some extra sustain and not too much percussive attack. Use the 'Lo/Hi' section to boost bass and roll off the treble a little, then use the 'Mid' control for a small amount of boost - you will need to mess with the centre frequency to dial in some 'honkiness' but whatever you do, don't 'scoop'. In the 'PDL' section, select 'oC' and dial in a little low octave just enough to thicken things up a bit. Add some slow but moderately deep multi-chorus from the 'MOD' section and a little 'slapback' echo (E1) from the 'DLY' section. Reverb is a matter of taste - a little 'SP' shouldn't ruin things too much but personally I would leave it out. Most importantly, play like you have no frets - play with your fingers (no pick), don't be afraid to gliss around over the frets and use plenty of vibrato and grace-notes. Good luck...

Thanks AmbientSpace! Six years on and your posting is still relevant! Can't figure out why Vox don't print this, it's a really useful way to understand what all the presets do and really helpful when you want to tweak
