VT Bass mid sweep mod - reviews?

Hi Folks,
Anybody want to comment about the Putnam midrange parametric (mid sweep) modification?

I have the VT Bass and am considering the Putnam midrange parametric control modification along with the DI mod.
I'd like to hear from anyone who's had it done.

Please to excuse if this is redundant.

I am really interested to know too! I've read that the VT knobs are very sensitive, and that it takes some time to get to know the pedal. In that case, would the mid sweep complicate matters?

I like it a lot. Since I view the character knob as a "high mid" knob, I set the sweep knob for more low mids and then boost the mids to 1-2 oclock. Gives lots of umph in the midrange. It helps balance it out when I have the mids and character knob in the 2 oclock position
