VT bass or BDDI V2

For those with the VT Bass DI, do you notice a bit of static/hiss when the bite switch is enabled and cab sim is disabled? @tech21nyc is this normal behavior?
Does the noise go away or diminish when you turn off the volume of your instrument? Are any other pedals being used or in the signal chain? The Bite switch adds a presence boost and disabling the speaker sim means the unit is running full range, both of which might contribute to added hiss depending upon your settings.

Most importantly do you hear any noise with your bass volume up full while playing with the band?

Hi, thank you for your response. It seems the noise is isolated to the pedal/bite switch. Changing the volume on the bass does not impact the hiss. I also tested with my BDDI, and cranking the presence knob up yields the same result/level of "hiss." I'm going to assume this is working as intended if that is the case. Thank you.
