hey guys,

yesterday i had an extensive session with a bass buddy of mine... we were working our way through a lot of basses and effects. i got to try his oc-3 octaver through a white bass-crybaby wahwah. that setup sounded really dope! a perfect drum'n'bass sound. i wonder if you guys have any suggestions considering wahwahs that might do that job even better, cause i reckon that there's better stuff than a crybaby.

the white wah-wah that you used was an Dunlop 105Q Bass wah-wah pedal. I currently own one but don't use it too much since I got something else. EHX Enigma with an expression pedal and you have a true bypass wah-wah with inifinite possibilites since you can set the start and stop freq as well as the Q level and also it has built in analog dirt. Also it has lowpass, bandpass and hipass modes which will let you hone into any sound. i can make it sound like a 105Q , a weeping demon and just about anything in between. My perfect envelop filer, wah-wah into one nice package.

The enigma sounds pretty intriguing, will have to try that set-up out. I picked up a g-labs wowee wah this fall and have been extremely impressed with it. Other than the stupid name, it's outperformed every other wah I've tried, including the ebs wah one, weeping demon, dunlops and morleys. The g lab is also built like a tank, best money I've ever spent on a wah.

hey voodoo, nevr heard of that wah-wah so i might have to try it out..is it true bypass and if it isn't does it suck a lot of tone? my poor Dunlop did hence why im now gonna trade or sell it or who knows what?
