Waiting Is Hard

Took the SB-2 into the shop to get the stacked knob modification done a couple of weeks ago. Still not ready. He's been waiting on parts and too busy to keep up with everything. I love the work these guys do but it seems like it takes them forever to get a part.

It will be worth it. Just changes the whole tone of the bass.

cant they let you keep the bass until the parts come in. Then you can just bring it to the shop when they are ready to do the work

please enlighten me . I just received my L2k this week...loving it ..but cant help but learn what I can about G&L basses

I just wanted to post that I love my SB-2 Tribute, and the only thing better would be a MIA SB-2!

As far as not having a tone knob, I have learned to just EQ the amp differently with that bass. I am starting to think now if I did the tone mod, I may lose what I love about the sound now. I love my SB-2!

The stacked knob modification means that since the SB-2 has no tone control, and there being only 2 knobs to start with, the modification adds a knob on top of a knob to add the tone control knob.
