Wal basses haven't been made for some time. There is a rumor that they are going to start production again. I don't know if there is any truth to it.

You can buy one used if you can find it, or wait until they start making 'em again.

The lack of a new site, etc. probably speaks to Paul Herman needing to deal with the existing back orders for instruments (many already paid for in full). It would make sense that these need to be taken care of before he can even think about 'going public' to take even more orders.

  8. I think there was or is one in the TB classified...

Unfortunately, it seems there are so many people chomping at the bit for a Wal that the back orders may never be caught up!?

yeah I saw a couple in the TB classified

Excuse my ignorance but what is it so special about this basses?

I’ve seen them and I like the look but I’ve never played or heard one.

They sound absolutely amazing. However, a lot of people are looking for these because they think it'll make 'em sound like Justin Chancellor or Colin Edwin (the latter is my reasoning for wanting one).

    Except for "H." and "46 & 2", which was a EBMM Stingray.
