Steve C's website, which you found, is more or less the "official" site now, but keep in mind it is run by a player and fan, just like you and me, and there is no official connection there to Pete Stevens, the crafstman who makes Wals. The email link you clicked on goes to Steve.
The phone number listed on Steve's web site is current. Your best bet is to call in the late afternoon, GMT time zone. There's an answering machine, but Pete doesn't have a good record about returning calls, so just keep trying.
Keep in mind, however, that unfortunately the waiting list is huge. It takes pete four or more months to complete just one instrument, and he currently works alone. I know of at least one player who paid in full for instruments at least five years ago he is still waiting for. Then again, I know of other players who have received them in relatively short order. It seems to help if your order is "easy" and especially if you are local.
