Walking Bass Line help.......

I have been practicing the Bass line for Great Balls or Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis. I don't know much theory but I think it is a walking bass line in G.

So I think it goes.... G for 2 measures, C for 2 measures, D for 1 measures, C for 1 measure and G for 2 measures.

So If I'm right the walking bass line goes GBDEFEDC, CEGABflatAGA, DF#AF#, CEGE, GBDEFEDC? Does that seem right?

Any help you can give me would be helpful, thans.....

Almost. It's the C at the end of the G-chord that I question. Should be a B, I think.

You can simplify it this way:

| GBDE | GBDE | CEGA | CEGA | DF#AB | CEGA | G.....

You can also do each chord using the octave instaed of the b7. For instance, on the G-chord:

GBDE GEDB (the second G being the octave)
