wooooo.... That is a beautiful design Greenman. I really like the idea of the patterns, is the front piece gonna be some metal of some sort? Its quite 'elegant' ! Im lookin forward to seeing pics of this bass in progress, I havent seen any of your work yet. Good luck with the build !

That will all be hand engraved aluminum plate inlayed flush with the body.

(chills down my spine) that is downright perfect. dude, hand engraved? that is pure genius. now, where the hell in Ontario are you? I must come meet you/see this bass one of these days. That is truly a beautiful bass.

How ever, its probably just the guy at Beavs, but the magnets seem a little close to the edge, I guess its just a mistake with the graphics designer. I really really like the idea of the aluminum ! the patterns remind me of my Sitar, ill bring it when I come over, hehehe.

Gotta love solid walnut body, my favourite. Cool neck lines too that little bit just before the pocket is very cool.

Wow it's been a while, like a year or so.

A few specs have changed but I shall carry on. I got some body routing done and started the inlaying. Should be fun but won't be quick.

Two separate plates eleonn. Tools used were table saw, stationary sander, drill press files and sand paper.

If you don't mind me asking, which specific materials did you use for the neck plates and let-in under-string accent stripe?
