If you don't mind me asking, which specific materials did you use for the neck plates and let-in under-string accent stripe?

Aluminum from an old entranceway as you would see at a mall or grocery store.

Just a quick little update as I am awaiting parts.

I thought I would get a head start on filling this thirsty piece of walnut with a mixture of turpentine and linseed oil. So far 30 plus coats. I will route for pickup and battery box before final finish.
