Wow, $1800.00! Since two channel WW MI-100's usually go for well under $1K, it's hard for me to believe that a four channel version is that much more desirable to warrant that kind of price.

Did you see the new listing on Ebay for an Electro Acoustic Stereo.
The asking price is $3,500.00? Things are getting crazy out there agian.
I'm sure glad that you have yours and I have mine. I couldn't afford one
unless I got it from Walter himself. His prices are reasonable. You just have to be willing to wait a few months.

Thanks Ric. I did see the WW amp currently on eBay. As I type this there's 1 day, 6 hours left on the auction and no bids yet. Buy It Now for $3500 doesn't seem to have any takers, so maybe the seller has priced this beyond what the market will bear right now.

I purchased this Walter Woods M100-4, (120 watts 4 ohms) on e-bay about 2 months ago. It was listed for $750 -So I offered the seller & purchased the amp for $550.

Was that a good deal? I don't know that much about this amp, however it sounds better then my previous Ampeg & is 95 lbs lighter !! Any additional information would be great, along with speaker cabinet suggestions - Thanks !!

That's Walter's very first Mini Amp from about 1970. Sometimes known as the Ice Cream Sandwich because of its appearance. Although not very powerful by today's standards, it has the classic WW sound. As for speaker cab suggestions, I'd highly recommend the Euphonic Audio Wizzy which is a four-ohm 1x12 cab that will get the most power out of your amp, and, since the Wizzy has an exceptionally high sensitivity rating, it will make very good use of your amp's available power.
