Besides the classic speaker slaying lead sleds you have ruled out (like the great Crest CA6 and CA9 ), my favorites are the "larger" Mesa Carbines (M6 and M9 ), but there are plenty here:

For Eden you could add the WT1205 and WT800C or D to the WT550 suggestion. I used to use Eden, but I use one or two PF500s now. I've actually done the master/slave thing with a pair of Seismic 2x15 (house cabs). It worked great.

When my GK1001RB died, my backup amp was an Acoustic 370. I had never gigged with it. Into my 4 ohm cabinet it does 165 watts. Holy cow, it was loud and fat with none of the controlled low end the GK has. I had no volume problems. Big, fat, round early 70's tone, but still with clarity through modern speakers. Into 2 ohms it would be close to 300 watts. Easily as loud as my 1001RB.

If 300 watts is enough, the Mesa Walkabout should be on the list.
Warm, smooth, very adjustable with the para EQ section, well built and very reliable.
Can sound VERY Ampeg like IME.
Approx. $500 used.

Actually, note that he's running at two ohms. At that impedance, the Walkabout is in the 500 watt range. It's 300 watts at 4 ohms.

One other stellar option is an Eden WT550. My main amp right now is an older WT300, and while the 300 and 400 are reputed to be a bit warmer than the 550, most find the 550 to be loud, reliable at two ohms, and no slouch in the warmth department. The built in compressor is not widely admired, and be careful with the enhance, which scoops the mids.

Never played the Hartke LH1000, but gigged quite a bit with the LH500 and two EV TL606's with Kappalite 3015 drivers, and that was loud, punchy and warm.

Also, I recently got to play a Carvin B2000 owned by Sean O'Bryan Smith here in town, and found it to be incredibly loud, warm and punchy as all get out. I haven't played the BX1500, but have owned two BX500's and two B1500's. I always found the B1500 with drive around noon or one o'clock to be very warm, and the B2000 is slightly different but equally as warm, loud, and impressive, at a fraction of the weight. It's worth your consideration as well, but be very judicious with the master volume with that level of wattage!
