FORWARD - Please don't waste the reply... I really don't care if you like/love a Bose L1/L2 (I don't own one and am not buying one)
-----
SITUATION
I play a ton for acoustic solo/duo/trio scenarios... for paying gigs, volume and space control seem to be the trends.
For this reason, many guys I play with are moving toward Bose systems.
GEAR
They commonly will use some type of digital mixer (Mackie, Bose etc)
"Warmth"
My personal gear is analog mixers with powered digital speakers. I'm aware having a cabinet and analog mixer will warm up the sound.
ISSUE - I'm a low tenor/baritone
I'm a low tenor (sing in the Neil Diamond range)...
I've tried multiple microphones they sound overly "present"
When singing backup works great...
When singing lead I do not have the Toby Keith low fundamental.
-----
Are there any effects/boxes tested for this type of problem (I know it's common)
I just bought a line6 x3 to get some control over the EQ... possibly a reverb/delay can alter enough.
My current Mic is a PVM46... I have a fleet of other options tool.
How would you warm up baritone vocals?
