WARMOTH BASSES

I bought a korina P body with a quilt maple cap in an outstanding blue burst from the Thrift shop. It was a great deal! The neck is an all bird'seye maple J with heavy figuring. Added a J rout and put in a PJ set of EMG's with BT preamp, full size Schaller tuners and straplocks and a BadassII bridge. This bass is not only stunning to look at but sounds awesome!!!!

Unfortunately I don't have any pics....

Groovecenter has good suggestions for light body woods. Read the Warmoth wood pages, then keep an eye on the Thrift shop. However, a body style likw an LP doesn't come up very often in a light wood - usually mahogany. You may just have to go ahead and order one new.

Warmoth quality is first rate and it is money well spent - you'll get what amounts to a custom shop bass for half (or less) of the cost.

thanks.. has anyone seen any of these basses
www.wishbass.com

its really cheap to have a total custom bass, and he does it all, and you design the body however you want it. i dont know though.. i really want a warmoth custom, but i wouldnt know how to do it all.. groovecenter, would you be interested in helping me setup the whole bass and everything? Maybe even doing it all for me if I payed you?
Just get back to me when you can. Thanks,
Zach

I've never built a light Warmoth bass. Their bodues are heavy & they use Steel Reinforcements in thei necks & they get heavy.
Quality is top notch!!!!

how much do you think it would be after i bought everything? I Really like your red with black
pickguard bass. The one with black hardwear and everything.
The bass that I really like, is the Les Paul style. I would want that, maybe in the red like yours, with all black hardwear, and the les paul neck. I don't know everything that I would need, and theres NO way I know how to put it together. Can you help? Its either a Warmoth bass, or getting a bass from www.wishbass.com
if i got one from wish bass.. i would probably get something really crazy with and design a crazy body style, either that, or get a bass that I would actually use at a show like this... it all depends on the price. Thank you, !

If you need help with this, I recommend you contact Nino. You'd be even better off telling him what you want and having him put it together for you. He helped me with mine, and he's a top notch guy.

Toss him a PM.

P.S.- He works for Sadowsky (One of the highest held jazz and P bass makers) and has built so many warmoths its ridiculous. You'd be in good hands.
