Warmoth basses

Fellas,

Since G&L dropped the birdseye option on the their fret boards I'm looking for different ideas.

I love the look of roasted maple on EBMM basses so I may go that route with Warmoth. Has anyone bought a roasted maple neck from Warmoth?

I already have my bass options picked out but still have to get the coin to pay for all of it. I noticed you can buy damn near the entire bass body, neck, hardware, and electronics straight from Warmoth but can't buy pickguards thru them?

Huh, I don't think I've ever configured a Warmoth body with a top rout. But I never select a finish that doesn't show wood grain either, so a p/g would just be covering glorious grain.

But I do like the look of those roasted maple necks...
