Warmoth customers service

A couple of weeks ago i ordered a p-bass neck from Warmoth. ( i have bought loads of stuff from them ) And since i use 55 - 110 strings i them asked if the nut could be filed accordingly. Their answer was like this: We dont...the strings may fit..they may not.
Of course they did not fit..not at all. Im a bit dissapointed. What do you think? Is this bad service?
Other than this im very happy with what i have bought from them.

You should always set the nut the way you want it and inspect the fret's.

From their web site:

For fine adjustments to your nut slots use our File Set NFS7

I's an accepted fact that final leveling and instrument set-up are best done after the guitar has been strung up to pitch for several days and the neck has time to settle in to the tension of the strings. Then, if needed, the frets may be leveled under tension to provide the finest action. After the frets are leveled then they are individually recrowned to restore their rounded shape.
