i got back from being on the road for a bit and I had this waiting for me- i spec'ed out a bass with the idea of doing the coveted " Geddy 5 " that I have seen so many people write about- well, I am now doing a departure from that, the quilt is nice and i don't want to cover it. So it went from a Geddy 5 to a " Tuxedo Bass " to give my beloved F Bass a break now and then....
Waiting on the pre and pickups- and bridge. Hope it sounds as good as it looks so far...

I got one too. I'm trying VERY hard to have this one done by the NYC GTG. I doubt it'll be done because the GTG is next Sunday and I JUST took these pics. :(

i was going to contact you on this- i originally wanted a pickguard, warmoth does not offer one, and i know you have made some that look great- i thought maybe a clear guard? but 4 now, i guess no guard- i just have to line up the holes to fit with a plate if i ever decide to put a plate and a guard on it- i have no one to do this as of yet

no, Vince. In fact, since i got the skb 44rw bass safe I am not afraid to take it on the road gigs- but every now and then , a guy gets in a jazz bass mood, ya know? And since black seems to be the choice of the working musician, i figured this would go good with anything! ;)
its a beaut- the pics don't do it justice...

Ben, i am not sure the exact measurements- but it feels very nice and playable- it is not thick at all, very comfy- i am quite happy with this neck. Can't wait for the other parts to come in- U retro should be here any day, bridge.. well , whenever Hipshot sends it. And i still have to hunt down Dimarzio pups-

Not to get off topic but where is the NY GTG? Are there any details posted anywhere?
