I'm pleased to say it worked. Not quite perfect, but when you compare the originals, there were slight variations anyway.

Thought I would repost my Warmoth Beauties -
This is a 2000 Warmoth Dinky P Archtop Solid White Korina body with EMG P-4 pup's, EMG BQS 18v pre, Gotoh Tuners, BadAssII Bridge and a custom Modulus VJ neck wrapped in White Cedar! It is a Tung Oil hand rubbed finish
This is my very first 5 string ever. A 2005 G-5 Solid Mahogonany. This was the actual prototype Warmoth used for the G-5 and had it's picture on their page for a couple of years! the neck is all Maple w/ a Maple board no dots. Seymour Duncan Pup, EMG BQ 18v pre, Fender Bridge and Tuners. High Gloss Varnish finish on the body only...

One of two Warmoth basses I've built recently. It plays and sounds incredible. Tiny shim in the neck to get ridiculous low action. The bass is responsive, dynamic and just pours out musical tone.

Shaped a Graphtech black TUSQ for the neck, not sure if I will use that material again, it seems softer when compared to corian or white TUSQ, but it does prevent binding on the E string when using the Hipshot extender. Also using a traditional round string retainer, but I don't like how it spaces out the string on the headstock due to the nut spacing, will probably go back to my 3 string Hipshot retainer
Currently waiting for my graphite reinforced Warmoth neck to arrive.. got the tracking number yesterday

Fender pickguard, control plate, string ferules and reverse wind tuners. Fralin split '51 pickup. Wilkinson bridge. Sprayed with nitrocellulose lacquer.

really nice job. It looks the part! What is the overall weight? You mentioned the body being light...
