That is a great looking neck there big guy. I bought one from them earlier this year...and after looking at that one, I may just start a new project!

Thanks guys. I just finished making the nut, need to string the neck and make final adjustments to the nut slots. 
Swamp ash "P" body with quilt maple top. Finished in black dye. Natural gloss finished birdseye maple neck, birdseye fingerboard. Stainless steel frets and no inlays. Seymour Duncan MM pickup and electronics.

Quick question about warmoth maple necks...
Will warmoth do a nice satin smooth feeling finish on a maple neck?
Is it uber smooth or just average?

Thats pretty much your only readily available option. Ive tried finding info on other that may work w/o any luck.
Just got this last week, my first Warmoth! I was a bit worried since i typically only play 5'ers, and usually lined fretless necks, but geeeeeeze this is NICE! I'm now thinking the 4 is a better option for me with the unlined board, less to worry about, although it plays so easy that intonation isn't really much of a problem. Wenge neck, ebony board, chambered flame maple body, fender CS p'ups, hipshot hardware. This ones staying in the stable, she plays and sounds as good as she looks!
I use a ProTec gigbag for mine. I *think* it is the Contego model and I bought it from BassNW. Fits just fine!

Took the guard off and let all her tiger flamed hotness show through!

I've been agonizing over my neck wood choice for a while now, I can't figure out if I want to stick with my standard finished maple, or move over to a raw wenge neck. Considering my disposable income looks nonexistent for a while, it's not a real big thing, but when I do get it, I'd like to make the right choice. Do you think you could fairly compare/contrast the two types for me?
I personally prefer the raw necks. very fast and not sticky at all.the wenge and the gancalo are my favorites but i would really like to try a Rosewood neck and board.any body have any experience ?
Rosewood and Wenge both feel nice. Canary and Bubinga are a bit smoother to the touch. I don't have any experience with Goncalo.
