Details

I assembled this bass in 08' using all new parts bought from Warmoth, had Pat Wilkins paint the body, then never played it. I actually stopped playing outright in 2009. Having just sold my Accugroove Whappo Jr. cabinet on here last week has made me decide to part with this as well. I have close to a hundred pictures documenting the build, if you're interested in the bass send me a PM with your email and I'd be happy to send you more pictures. The bass is currently strung BEAD and is in perfect working order, the action and final set up was done at a local music store in NH where I use to live. Bass is now in NC with me and comes in a hard shell case.
When I assembled this bass the parts and the cost of paint came to over $1200.00.
It has an Ash body with a flawless Surf Green, Pat Wilkins, paint job in polyester.
The neck is a gorgeous Birds Eye Maple with vintage tint from Warmoth, it has the rosewood FB. This neck alone was over $300.
The Pickup is a Curtis Novak Vintage P-Bass pickup and the cavity was fully shielded.
If you have been thinking of building your own bass this is a great way to save some $.

**Please note this is not a Fender bass the Fender sticker on the headstock is just for looks. I put it there to complete the look, it can easily come off. I'll leave it and let the buyer decided if they want it or not. I'm not trying to misrepresent the bass.

I'm asking $700.00 firm but I'm willing to entertain offers. Buyer to pay cost of shipping, insurance, and packaging materials.

Thanks, Jeff

Sorry, urbanpail. I got side tracked today and forgot you had some questions. The neck is pretty much a standard P Bass replacement (34" scale) as far as size, the nut IIRC is 1 11/16", the heel is 2 1/2" it has 21 SS vintage frets and the satin vintage tint finish on it, the fingerboard is slightly longer to accommodate the 21st fret. As I haven't really played the bass much since building it there is no wear on the finish, neck or frets at all. I believe the radius is 10" but I'm not 100% sure and the weight is 9 lbs 2 oz's (Using a digital bathroom scale so it could be off a little).

Cheers, Jeff

What a beautiful bass. The surf green with the white pearloid pickguard look stunning together.

I assume that is a Warmoth pickguard and you put the truss rod notch in yourself?

I'm trying to visualize this with a tort guard and a black pickup cover.

Guess I can resurrect this listing. Still have the bass. If interested I'll take $700 and I'll cover the shipping costs if in the US of A.
