Warmoth Pickguards: Examples on the website accurate?

More specifically, I'm looking at the black pearl pickguards that Warmoth offers.

Are the sample pics in the website accurate to the real thing?

I love the look of how dark it is in the pics, but I've seen "black pearl" pickguards on instruments that have a grey hue.

I ordered a black/red/black and the red was spot on to the color on their site.

As for anything not a solid color, it's going to vary. Pearls don't do it as much as say tort can, but it's going to vary nonetheless so either buy in person or accept it for what it is and go for it.
