My old 60s fiberglass bass needs a little lovin'. The neck is bowed in a little and needs a fix. Still playable but the action gets high toward the middle of the fingerboard. Anyone have experience working on these and can the neck be saved? I know this is a common problem with these basses.
If not is it even possible to replace the neck on this sort of bass? The neck and body look like they may be fused together as one piece but I can't really tell.
Any help? Thanks
