I'm not sure how accurate it is, but here you go...

Whether or not he could have figured it out is not the point. This is the tablature forum... There have been times I've asked for tab that I could have figured out - but I didn't have the time. Usually I get "play this < bla bla bla > and just fake the rest". Not much help.

People are too quick to judge. I don't care why he wanted it, and I'm not going to belittle him for asking.

I'm sorry. You're right. Different players - different levels - different reasons... I should have kept my mouth shut

It looks like you forgot to mention that it is drop-D tuning. A beginner will probably miss that.

  7. Hi folks,

I haven't been on here for a while, but a search for info on Uncle Tom's Cabin brought me to this thread.

I'm trying to play this, but am absolutely stumped (only been playing bass 30 years!). Seriously, I absolutely cannot get this. :(

Does anyone have an accurate tab or score for the original song in the original key which can be played on a 5-string bass in standard tuning? I've tried to work with gregandgail's pdf file in an earlier post on this thread (thank you for posting the file!), but I can't make head nor tail of it. Tab says (for example) 2nd fret on E string, which is F#, score shows it as E, but it's actually Eb.

I'm tearing my hair out!!! And I don't know enough (any?) music theory to be able to transpose it.

    Can anyone help?

    Many, many thanks in advance.

    :)
