Warwick 1000 watt class D amp???

Hey all,
For what its worth...

Been using this amp with Victor Wooten Band. 2 drummers, 4 bass rigs on stage.
The amp kicks butt... seriously loud and clear. The aux input on front comes in real handy when referencing music for rehearsal.

2 channels is great... the applications are many.

And.. the soundman, singer and Derico have asked me to turn down recently. Now that is not a good thing, in general, but in this case I think it is significant. . Steve

Thanks for the info. I've had a bad experience with an SVT7PRO and am looking for alternatives. Does the LWA 1000 allow you to use both channels at the same time? I play a synth (using a 12 Step) and need to have bass guitar playing too.

brotherbassj -

The new LWA1000 is something new in Class D amp world, as we're using a new Class D power module. Its a true 1000 watt, 2 channel - 4 band eq, compression, and loaded with features all in a 6 pound package. You can see it here on the website: Invalid Link Removed

And here is a demo by Andy Irvine:

Please let me know if you've got any questions, or need assistance in any way. Thanks!

I've asked WarwickOfficial a question in a separate conversation. Hope he can help. But I do have to say that this video is very long :-(and it didn't answer my question: "Can both channels be used at the same time?" - although from what Mr Irvine says, it appears that this could be possible.)

OK - as Warwick don't seem to be engaging with us today, I'll answer my own question for the benefit of anyone else with the same question. The Warwick LWA 1000 has two separate channels and inputs, which can be used simultaneously - for bass guitar and synth. With a bass amp and full range bass speakers, this will sound amazing in smaller clubs where we don't put the bass through the PA - the synth through the foldback.
- This answer comes from Max in the Thomann Guitar department, who went down to their shop floor where they set one up and tried it. So Max gets my thanks, my order and all the credit.

Has anyone recently tried the Warwick LWA 1000? I heard a bunch of them sold. I kind of thought it was like one of those amps that were excellent and got a bad rap... thus not selling well enough, but enough still available. I like the idea of a two channel amp. I also think I read there's no fuzzy hairy sound from these guys-- just clear loud tone..

Anyone out there got one care to comment?

Mine is working very well. Nice and loud, and sounds very solid The second channel is entirely independent and operates simultaneously with the other.
