Warwick 5.2 vs. ampeg svt 450

Ok guys I need help. I am a guitar player now playing bass for a euro Pop rock band and not familiar with bass gear. I currently play a hartke 3500 but not real happy with the tone, maybe it's me. I am saving to buy a ampeg svt 450 but found a Warwick 5.2 for an unbelievable price and want to know if they are good I would think it would be with the Warwick name which would yall suggest ampeg or Warwick?

I only play G-K, but the backline cabs are just beginner cabs and the tone can be lacking. I would try your 3500 with some higher line cabs before you change heads. You might just blow cabs and never find the tone that you are missing.

I understand what u are saying but I'm not happy with the head I have a vintage 400 rb that sounds great but it has an intermittent issue I haven't found, I like ampeg but found a Warwick 5.2 for a great price trying to see if anyone is familiar with them there isn't much online
