"Six Feet Under" and "Reciprocal" bassist Jeff Hughell is featured in this video produced by Warwick at Bass Camp 2016. Jeff has refined his skills on the 7-string bass guitar since 1999 and is now regarded as one of the most prominent examples of the virtuosic use of 7-string basses, which he impressively demonstrates on his solo albums.

In 2016 Warwick built the first fretless Custom Shop Masterbuilt Bass for Jeff, which he personally received at the company headquarters in Markneukirchen at the Warwick Bass Camp 2016.

Interview topics include Jeff's techniques such as tapping, the different approaches in his solo project compared to Six Feet Under and, of course, Jeff also presents his brand new Warwick Custom Shop Masterbuilt Corvette NT fretless 7-String Bass.

Whoah, Jeeeze! Just completely shocking that he didn't even play it!

I mean even if he possibly has dead zero ear for fretless intonation I still want to hear the amplified sound of the thing. Does Warwick's marketing team think this vid will help to sell instruments.

Maybe he couldn't tune it either. :woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:

Wait a second guys, I know nothing about this guy or the band he plays for so I have NO IDEA if he has any chops on fretless. To me all the blame falls on Warwick for not doing a proper video showcasing a custom build. Lets cut the guy a break, just cause he looks like a metalhead (who sometimes have killer chops) does not mean he has a tin ear. Carry on.
