Warwick bass pickups

Does anyone know what the differences are between these 2 types of pickups?. They are from warwick corvette $$. The black $$ has slightly bigger p'ups than the natural. Is there any difference in sound? Looking at buying one

Just different housings. The black one has 'no ear' mounting shells.
